The vacuum brazing process involves, under vacuum heating conditions, using liquid brazing filler metal with a lower melting point than the base metal to fill the gaps between the base metals through the capillary suction effect of the tiny gaps between two workpieces, thereby forming a firm joint. This process is mainly used for vacuum brazing of stainless steel, high-chromium alloys, copper, titanium alloys, superalloys, cemented carbides, etc.
