Introduction to quenching furnace

I. introduction to quenching process:
Quenching is to heat the steel to a critical temperature, Ac3, or Ac1, to the temperature, to keep it warm for a while, to make it all or part of it, and then to make it to the temperature of the process of the process of the conversion of the martenor or the bass to the process of the martenor, or the bat-body, at the rate of the cold and the cooling of the critical cooling rate. Normally, it is to heat up a metal artifact to a certain temperature and to keep it for a while, then immerse it in a rapidly cooling metal treatment process in a quenching medium.

Ii. Purpose of quenching:
The purpose of quenching is to make the supercooled austenite undergo martensite or bainite transformation, obtain martensite or bainite tissue, and then cooperate with tempering at different temperatures to greatly improve the strength, hardness, wear resistance, fatigue strength and toughness of steel, so as to meet the different requirements of various mechanical parts and tools. Also can satisfy some special steel by quenching of ferromagnetic, corrosion resistance and other special physical and chemical properties. The quenching process is mainly used for steel parts. When commonly used steel is heated to above a critical temperature, the original tissue at room temperature will all or most transform into austenite. Then rapid cooling in the steel immersed in water or oil, austenite into martensite. Martensite has the highest hardness as compared to other tissues in steel. The purpose of the quenching of the steel is to achieve a high hardness and then tempering at an appropriate temperature to give the workpiece the desired properties in order to have its tissues fully or largely transformed into martensite.

Introduction to quenching furnace

Iii. Purpose of quenching furnace:
The hardened furnace series is widely used in mechanical manufacturing, and mechanical parts, especially in cars, planes, ships and so on are almost all tempered with quenching heat. Quenching furnace can be used for auto parts, airplane parts, ax-classes, gears, sprockets, bolts, and steel parts quenching and heating, and the quench tank can be used for heating and quenching and cooling, and the system reaches high quality and quenching.

Iv. Working mode of the quenching furnace:
Conduct a complete quenching heat treatment, quenching furnace generally divided into two parts, the first part is used for quenching furnace heated to quenching process, generally known as quenching furnace, such as widely used car type quenching furnace, generally the highest working temperature 1200 ℃. In addition, there are well quenching furnace, box quenching furnace and vacuum quenching furnace. The second part is the quench tank used to quench the quench, and the usual quench is water, oil, salt water, quench liquid, and polyethylene glycol aqueous solution. Workpieces after quenching furnace heating, can pass road transport into the quenching tank quenching of work piece, in addition, there are continuous quenching furnace, such as my company groove type aluminum alloy quenching furnace production line can realize continuous quenching.

V. classification of quenching furnace:
A quench furnace is divided into electric heating, oil heating, gas heating, three different types of heating. They are respectively electric heating quenching furnace, fuel oil quenching furnace and gas quenching furnace.

Three, the furnace has a different oven structure, and it has a different way of doing it, like a car with a car in the car, and it has an automatic in and out of a car, and it’s easy to make a fire, and then it can quench the furnace, and it can quench a fire in a row, so there are several different types of furnace: a car quenching furnace, a shaft quench furnace, a chamber quencher, and a roller quench furnace.

4. Quenching furnace can also be divided into the vacuum quenching furnace, and in the ordinary air heating quenching furnace.
