Vacuum arc furnace is mainly used in titanium, zirconium, tantalum, niobium, tungsten, molybdenum and other precious metals and high temperature alloy, precision alloy, and other special steel under vacuum smelting ingot casting, can make the metal refining, in order to gain better purification of metal crystal structure.

In a vacuum environment, the self-consuming electrode produced by induction melting or other mechanical methods is called vacuum consumable electrode arc melting by means of controlled dc arc heating. The arc occurs between the bottom (cathode) of the consumable electrode and the bottom (anode) of the crucible, and when the arc is formed, a molten metal pool can be produced rapidly. The arc heating zone between the bottom of the electrode and the upper part of the molten material is precisely maintained under the determined melting rate control.

Equipment features:

1. The equipment transfer mechanism adopts large diameter rotary support bearing and electric roller box assembly, which is flexible and easy to wear.

2. As the main body, the gantry frame structure is stable and reliable, and the furnace room lifting mechanism adopts ball linear guide rail, which is more stable and reliable, and convenient for maintenance and replacement.

3. The configuration of high efficient vacuum system ensures the extraction requirements of titanium sponge.

4. The electrode rod head is designed with reliable welding mechanism in the furnace, so that the success rate of welding in the furnace is greatly improved, and there is no impact on the transmission ball screw, so as to improve the service life of ball screw.

5. Computer monitoring system can control and record key data of production process, providing data support for production process, product quality and accident handling.

6. The electrode weighing system makes the melt speed control possible. Through arc pressure, automatic melting is realized.

7.Adjust the system of the power consumption electrode X and Y to ensure accurate alignment.
